Travel Trailers are the most popular type of RV because they come in all shapes and sizes and can accommodate solo travelers all the way up to large families. Some travel trailers are more compact and can be towed behind smaller vehicles while others are also sport utility vehicles that allow you to bring all your toys along for the journey.
Fifth wheels often come with the same amenities as a motorhome or travel trailer but are constructed with a raised forward section that provides a more spacious bi-level floor plan. The extra space makes it feel like you are cooking in a residential kitchen, has a spacious living room, and a private and separate bedroom.
Class B motorhomes, also known as camper vans, feature all the conveniences of a furnished motorhome but
are compact enough to make driving one as easy as your regular van or SUV.Â
Class C Motorhomes, an over-the-cab area that can be used as an optional sleeping space. These motorhomes are constructed on a van frame with a wider body section attached to the original cab. They offer similar amenities to conventional motorhomes, including large kitchens, spacious living areas, ample bathrooms, and a separate bedroom.
Class A motorhomes are built on specially designed motor vehicle chassis and do not require owning a separate tow vehicle. Class As boasts between 1 and 4 slide-outs that can add up to 6 feet in width to your RV. Home-like amenities abound with full kitchens, bathrooms, living areas with entertainment centers, and centrally controlled heating and air conditioning.Â
